A new shipment of two 100kW generator sets has recently been completed from China to Tanzania. The equipment will be used at a rice processing facility in Magu District, Mwanza Region, where agricultural processing is closely connected with local rice production.
Magu is one of the areas in Mwanza where paddy is an important agricultural crop. Rice harvested from local farms is collected and sent for processing, including cleaning, milling and packaging. For a processing facility, these operations depend on equipment such as rice mills, conveyors, pumps and lighting systems.
To provide backup power for these loads, the customer selected two 100kW diesel generator sets powered by Weichai engines. The generators are intended to provide an additional power source when the facility needs to operate its processing equipment without relying entirely on the local electricity supply.
The two Weichai generator sets were assembled and tested at our production facility in China before shipment. For this type of application, a 100kW generator can be used for individual processing loads or selected auxiliary equipment, depending on the actual operating requirements of the facility.
As a China generator manufacturer, Deman Power supplies diesel generator sets for agricultural processing, construction and other commercial applications. We focus on matching generator capacity with the customer's actual loads rather than simply selecting a larger unit.
For this Tanzania project, the two 100kW generator sets provide a practical backup power option for the rice processing facility. The use of Weichai engines also gives the customer a familiar engine platform for this type of diesel power equipment.

This shipment is another example of how a China generator manufacturer can support small and medium-sized processing businesses with appropriately sized power equipment. Deman Power will continue to provide generator sets for customers in Tanzania and other African markets based on their specific application and power requirements.
